The program Lectures on fMRI basis Tutorial sessions on neuroimaging software and paradigm design- Seminars for open questions Hands-on sessions on computers, scanner techniques, and paradigm design and application. Installation of dedicated software for fMRI post-processing (provided by “fMRI Consulting”). All the program may be conducted either in English or Spanish. At the end of the program each of persone of the team will be able : a. to understand the physics and neurophysiological basis of fMRI b. to understand and apply the technical foundations that allow the MR scanner and software to perform the proper sequences required for fMR c. to understand the mechanics of paradigm design and its application to elicit brain activation related to specific probe tasks. d. to design fMRI block-design paradigms e. to transfer, correct, normalize, filter, analyze, render, corregister, display, and storage fMR images in files and hard copy for medical interpretation. f. to interpret the results of fMRI studies.
